You will also be responsible for ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans. Additionally, you will administer medications utilizing the newest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies designed to ensure the safest delivery of medications to our patients.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based research and nursing standards.
Communicate effectively with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members.
Administer medications safely and efficiently.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.
Requirements
Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
Telemetry certification with ACLS preferred.
1 year telemetry/med surg experience preferred.
BSN preferred.
