Responsibilities
  • Conduct safety investigations of medical devices to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of investigations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues
  • Communicate with clients to promote and explain the benefits of new and existing services
  • Provide technical assistance to clients in reference to product inspection and follow-up services
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients to ensure ongoing business growth
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
  • 10 years of experience in compliance engineering, with a focus on medical devices
  • Extensive knowledge of IEC and UL standards, as well as international safety schemes such as OSHA's NRTL Program and the IECEE's CB Scheme
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
