Radiology Associates of Ocala is in search of a committed full-time Mammography Imaging Specialist to enhance their operations at a dynamic outpatient Imaging Center.
In the role of a Mammography Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing tasks autonomously in a busy women's imaging facility. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of mammography imaging techniques, radiation safety protocols, and patient care practices. Daytime shifts are available for this position.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with individuals from various backgrounds
- Thorough knowledge of mammography imaging and patient positioning
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies
- Excellent customer service skills
- Current CPR certification
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- ARRT registered technologist (ARRT)(R)
- Completion of Advanced Registry in Mammography (ARRT)(M)
- Florida State Licensure
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with digital and 3D mammography
- Familiarity with Mammography Reporting System (MRS)
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and PACS
