Job Summary

ECPI University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting professional to join our faculty team as an Accounting Professor. As a faculty member, you will provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience of our students and achieve learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver curriculum for Accounting courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards and ECPI University's academic goals.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students, promoting academic success and career development.
  • Assess student learning and progress, using data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in Accounting, incorporating relevant knowledge into course materials and instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement academic programs, ensuring alignment with ECPI University's mission and goals.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited educational institution required; Doctoral (PhD) degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 3-5 years industry experience in the past 10 years preferred.
  • 2 years teaching or presentation experience a plus.
  • CPA, CMA preferred.
