The Technical Editor will offer editorial assistance to contractor analysts crafting CI analytical products in alignment with military regulations and operational directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee that final documents are composed with clarity for the target audience, logically organized, grammatically accurate, and formatted according to established guidelines.
  • Revise templates created in Microsoft Word 2013 and later versions for existing product lines, accommodating documents ranging from two to over 100 pages.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to analysts in planning, coordinating, and timing the necessary steps for publication production.
  • Represent the organization in discussions with government contractors and personnel from various intelligence agencies to address technical challenges related to the publication and dissemination of intelligence products.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in intelligence analysis and technical editing, with a portion of this experience occurring within the last two years.

At least 2 years of experience with Desktop Publishing, basic graphic design, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, HTML, XML, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

A Master's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution, or a Bachelor's Degree with a total of 17 years of relevant experience.

Must possess a current Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in editing analytical products as outlined in the position summary.
