Job Summary:
LocumTenens is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a Hospital ED in Texas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a physician to work in a level 4 trauma facility with a high annual volume of 25,000 patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced ED environment
- Work 12-hour shifts, days or nights, with a call ratio of 120 hours per month for full-time and 60 hours for part-time
- Manage a high-volume caseload of 60-70 patients per day
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine is not required, but ABEM certification is preferred
- Prescriptive authority is required
- Ability to work in a level 4 trauma facility with a high-volume caseload
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
