About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hatchery Intern. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the poultry industry and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of incubation and hatching programs
  • Collect and analyze data on egg quality, fertility, and chick quality
  • Participate in the Embrex process to ensure proper egg placement in hatchers
  • Record and report hatch, hatch of fertile, and cull numbers
  • Perform residue breakouts and assess chick quality
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the successful completion of projects
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled and pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a positive attitude
