Job Title: Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Hitachi Rail. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling products efficiently and accurately by hand or using hand tools or portable powered tools.

About the Role:
  • Assemble products according to customers' needs following blueprints and specifications.
  • Perform setup and operate equipment as necessary, including performing routine maintenance, to produce or process products.
  • Operate basic test equipment such as DMM, continuity testers, etc. for verifying wiring, contact resistance, or locating faults.
  • Inspect own work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance to requirements, including HSE requirements, highest quality standards, and Safety critical requirements.
  • Operate overhead crane, forklift, and other material handling equipment.
Requirements:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2-3 years of expertise as an Associate Assembler.
Desired Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work from multiple sources.
  • Electro-mechanical assembly, mechanical assembly, or industrial painting.
  • Knowledge of the Product and Product families.
