About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Expert to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our Food and Nutrition department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nutritional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough nutritional assessments for all patients, providing input into Nutritional Support Service rounds and monitoring patient progress.
  • Diet Planning and Education: Develop and implement personalized diet plans, instructing patients and families on special diets and general nutrition principles.
  • Patient Care and Oversight: Develop and implement plans of care, providing oversight to dietetic technicians in providing patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Certifications: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Experience: One to three years of experience in a related field, with a strong analytical, computer, and communication skillset.
