Job Summary:

As a Pipefitter Specialist at Day & Zimmerman, you will be responsible for maintaining, assembling, fabricating, troubleshooting, and repairing piping systems carrying various substances in industrial processes. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair piping systems, including cutting, bending, threading, and fabricating pipes.
  • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and other related equipment by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints.
  • Prepare connections and install piping, mechanical fittings, supports, hangers, anchor bolts, couplings, valves, pumps, and other associated equipment.
  • Remove and replace worn components, utilizing required tooling such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, benders, and machining equipment.
  • Read and understand drawings, design specifications, procedures, and codes related to piping systems.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Pipefitter Helper.
  • Pass a nuclear background check and drug screening.
  • High School diploma or GED.
