Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. As a Traveling Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a busy Cardiac/progressive care telemetry unit and provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Cardiac/progressive care telemetry unit, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop and implement education plans to promote patient understanding and self-management of their health conditions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee or a compact state.
  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on Cardiac/progressive care telemetry.
  • EPIC experience within the last 12 months.
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Travel experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - ARRT and/or RCIS Certification.
  • EEG Tech - R.EEGT Certified.
  • Ultrasound Tech -ARRT or ARDMS certified.
Additional Information

Please note that we cannot approve any RTO within 9/27-10/13 due to the Epic Go-Live. Holiday RTO will not be approved. If needed, travelers can work it out with their managers at a later date.
