Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our patients, residents, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including baked goods, entrees, and desserts.
- Follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality and safest food possible.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including mixers, slicers, and ovens.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless food service operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of six months of applicable experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
- Basic math skills and ability to measure ingredients accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
