IV Nutrition is seeking a skilled and compassionate IV Technician to join our team. As an IV Technician, you will play a vital role in administering intravenous vitamins and nutrients to our patients, optimizing their health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer IVs and run fluid therapy for the intravenous process.
- Monitor client responses to treatment and manage potential complications.
- Assess client physical health, including vital signs and mental status.
- Identify contradictions to intravenous therapy and take necessary precautions.
- Document interactions and communication with clients regarding therapy services.
- Credentialed as an RN (Registered Nurse), Paramedic, or ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Electronic Medical Records, and Anatomy, Medical Terminology, and Medical Practice Functions.
- Strong venous access skills, including ability to access peripheral veins.
- 2 years minimum of vascular access or infusion experience.
This position will work eight (8) to ten (10) hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends required. The general clinic environment has climate control, adequate lighting, and a comfortable working space.
