About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at PeaceHealth in Ketchikan, Alaska. As a Total Joint Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a unique and challenging environment, providing high-quality care to patients in a rural setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex orthopedic surgeries, including total joint replacements, in a state-of-the-art operating room
- Provide comprehensive care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including surgeons, nurses, and support staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Requirements
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
- Completion of a fellowship program in Adult Reconstructive Surgery (Total Joints)
- At least one year of post-training experience
- Interest in working in a rural setting and providing care to a diverse patient population
