Veterinary Client Relations Specialist

East Louisville Animal Hospital is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Veterinary Client Relations Specialist to enhance our team of committed veterinary professionals.

As a key member of our veterinary staff, you will play a crucial role in shaping the client's experience at East Louisville Animal Hospital. It is essential that every client feels welcomed, secure, and at ease, which requires a unique individual who can connect with both pets and their owners with empathy, patience, and understanding. The primary duty of this role is to ensure smooth front desk operations while effectively facilitating communication between pet owners and our veterinary staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assess the needs of each visitor
  • Manage incoming phone calls and emails, prioritizing urgency
  • Conduct client check-ins and check-outs, including invoice reviews
  • Communicate visit expectations to clients and assist with pet management to alleviate stress
  • Accurately process and document financial transactions
  • Schedule appointments considering client needs, patient medical requirements, and clinic operations
  • Handle emergency situations and walk-in clients
  • Respond promptly to online inquiries regarding products, prescriptions, or client questions
  • Maintain cleanliness in lobby areas, exam rooms, and ensure proper stocking of client and patient areas
  • Advise clients on available products through our facility

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • A minimum of one year of experience in client service is necessary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Capability to manage stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and patience
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
