Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop, and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to hospital policy and procedures.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to non-licensed staff as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience in an acute care setting is preferred
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred
