Janitor/Maintenance Handyman

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance Handyman to join our team at F.I.T Martial Arts Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and well-maintained environment for our students and staff.

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean work area at all times, including general cleaning of the building, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning.
• Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect commonly used items, such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones, to maintain a healthy and safe environment.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform basic maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaking faucets, dry walls, and electrical outlets, as well as replacing air filters and maintaining HVAC systems.
• Grounds Maintenance: Maintain outdoor grounds, including emptying trash and recycling bins, and performing other tasks as needed.

• Physical Demands: Must be in good physical working condition and able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
• Electrical Knowledge: Has basic electrical knowledge and ability to perform basic electrical repairs.
• Schedule: Willing to work part-time on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
