IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. This role will involve providing technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software.
About the RoleAs an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for screening, referring, and diagnosing internal inquiries and work requests related to the maintenance of personal computers and related systems. You will install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software, provide end-user software troubleshooting and support, and apply advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software
- Screen, refer, and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests related to the maintenance of personal computers and related systems
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software
- Provide end-user software troubleshooting and support
- Apply advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1-2 years of Desktop Support experience in a Windows 7 or 10 environment
- Secret Clearance and Security+ CE certification
- Proven customer service record with strong communication skills
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
