Job Title: Assembly Shop Mechanic

23XI Racing is seeking a skilled Assembly Shop Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our racing team, you will be responsible for the assembly, disassembly, and service of our race cars.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, service, and maintain race vehicles and components.
  • Focus on post-event processes, including inspection, maintenance, and service on various vehicle components.
  • Perform crack check inspections using Magnetic Particle Inspection and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (Zyglo) processes.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 2+ years of experience as a mechanic in the NASCAR Truck, Xfinity, or Cup series.
  • Experience with Magnetic Particle Inspection &/or Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection.
  • General knowledge and understanding of race car components and systems.
  • Experience using hand tools (wrenches, sockets, hammers, Jacks, screw drivers, saws, drills, etc).
  • Ability to assess and react to situations in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and operate well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and propose solutions to complex issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
