Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Temple University Hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our healthcare team, and contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Treat and evaluate patients with cardiovascular conditions
* Administer advanced nursing care in a clinical specialty area
* Perform a wide range of patient care activities, including diagnosis and prescription of medical therapeutics in collaboration with licensed physicians
* Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment that prioritizes patient needs, comfort, and emotional state
* Treat patients with consideration for age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture
Requirements:
* Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
* Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program
* 2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner (Preferred)
* 1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice (Preferred)
* 1 year outpatient/ambulatory experience (Preferred)
* Experience in an EPIC environment (Preferred)
* CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner (Required)
* RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
* PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority (Preferred)
* BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
Work Schedule:
* 7am to 5pm
