We are seeking a highly skilled Dispatcher to join our team at Medical Imaging Systems. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring routes, updating call logs, and recording call information.

In this critical role, you will manage incoming orders for medical equipment, dispatch drivers for delivery, and pickup of equipment. You will coordinate the deployment of resources, such as equipment, or personnel, to fulfill service requests or respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

  1. Communication:

    You will be responsible for receiving incoming calls, emails, or other forms of communication from customers, vendors, or field personnel. You must effectively listen to the needs or concerns of the caller and provide timely and appropriate responses.

  2. Coordination:

    You will coordinate the deployment of resources, such as equipment, or personnel, to fulfill service requests or respond to emergencies. You assess the urgency of each situation and prioritize tasks accordingly.

  3. Scheduling:

    You will schedule appointments, deliveries, or service calls based on availability of resources and customer requirements. You must maintain accurate records of appointments and update schedules as needed.

  4. Documentation:

    You will maintain detailed records of all communication, transactions, and activities, including service requests, dispatch instructions, and updates on job status. Accurate documentation is essential for tracking progress, resolving disputes, and generating reports.

  5. Customer Service:

    You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers or vendors, providing assistance, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner. You strive to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive relationships.

  6. Multitasking:

    You often handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phone calls, dispatching, and updating records. You must be able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage your time efficiently.

  7. Technical Proficiency:

    You must be able to use specialized software, communication systems, or equipment to perform your duties. You should be comfortable with technology and willing to learn new tools or applications as needed.

  8. Teamwork:

    You collaborate closely with other team members, including technicians, supervisors, and administrative staff, to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery. Effective communication and collaboration are essential for success in this role.
