We are seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the administration and management of our Linux systems, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier I/II support for Linux systems, including hardware and software configuration deployment.
  • Remediate system vulnerabilities identified from automated scanners.
  • Use Bash scripting and Ansible to provide support for Continuous Integration efforts.
  • Administer DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Jira, and Git.
  • Expand the current usage of virtualization and containers, including Hyper-V, ESXi, Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware/vSphere.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in a related field plus a minimum of Four (4) years professional Linux experience.
  • MS degree in a related field and a minimum of Two (2) years of Linux experience.
  • High School diploma and 8+ years of Linux experience.
  • Compliance with DOD 8570 baseline certification requirements for IAT II.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Linux certifications, such as Red Hat or Ubuntu.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Jira, and Git.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and containers, including Hyper-V, ESXi, Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware/vSphere.
