Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Delegate and oversee the care provided by other caregivers, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in New Jersey
  • BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire
  • At least six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program
  • Scrub and circulating experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
  • BLS, PALS, ACLS, IV Certification
