Direct Counsel, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Litigation Attorney or Settlement Negotiator to join our team in Downtown Los Angeles. This is an onsite position with Monday to Friday working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate personal injury cases against insurance companies
  • Review and submit demand letters/packages
  • Negotiate settlements for various cases involving bodily injury (MVAs, premises liability, dog bites, etc.)
  • Negotiate liens with various vendors (doctors, chiropractors, rehabilitation centers, etc.)
  • Direct client communication and support

Requirements:

  • Previous bodily injury claims experience
  • Car insurance negotiation experience a plus
  • Experience as an associate attorney with personal injury pre-litigation or a claims negotiator

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple cases simultaneously
  • Self-starter with excellent oral and written skills
