Marriage and Family Counselor

Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is seeking a licensed therapist to work in a correctional facility in Coalinga, CA. The successful candidate will have a valid CA LMFT license, current CPR certification, and strong communication skills.
About the RoleThis is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, offering competitive rates and benefits. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, you will conduct assessments, provide clinical treatment interventions, and collaborate with other disciplines for patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to patients.
- Collaborate with other disciplines for patient care and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
- Develop and contribute to treatment and care plans.
- Provide education and counseling services to patients.
- Conduct Cognitive Behavior Therapy for individuals with Substance Use Disorders.
- Valid CA LMFT License.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and dedicated to providing excellent patient care.
The estimated salary for this position is $64/hour, with overtime pay after 40 hours/week. We offer a 401(k) retirement plan, healthcare, vision, and dental benefits.
