Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our Postpartum team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. As a Postpartum Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to new mothers and their babies, ensuring a smooth transition from hospital to home.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to postpartum patients, addressing their physical and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Assist with newborn care, including feeding, bathing, and monitoring
  • Provide education to patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Washington Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • One year of nursing experience
  • National Certification in area of specialty (preferred)
