Digital Materials Assembly Technician

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $160,000 per year.

About the Position

NASA is seeking a skilled Digital Materials Assembly Technician to join its team at the NASA Ames Research Center. The successful candidate will work on the ARMADAS project, assembling and testing digital materials and structures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics, with experience in rapid prototyping, manufacturing, and/or mechatronics. They should be proficient in Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence, and have excellent technical writing skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with robotic assembly and testing
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as CREO
  • Knowledge of FEA simulation tools such as ABAQUS
