Grader Machine Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Grader Machine Operator to join our team at Blue Diamond Growers. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating equipment such as size graders, cableveys, and electronic sorting machines to produce high-quality raw almonds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate processing equipment: Safely and efficiently run processing equipment to meet production targets and quality requirements.
- Conduct quality checks: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and conduct quality checks to ensure the production of high-quality goods.
- Communicate with team members: Actively communicate with fellow team members to solve problems and engage in continuous improvement.
- Monitor and record data: Efficiently navigate within computer software applications to perform unit/batch transactions, record data, and monitor key process and production flows.
- Maintain a safe work environment: Complete floor and equipment cleaning, housekeeping, sanitation, and preventative maintenance tasks for sustained operations.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Work experience: Previous experience in food manufacturing and at least 1 year machine operating experience
- Physical demands: Able to lift 50 pounds
