Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist - Cloud Analytics Developer, you will be part of our Global Analytics software development team based in Warrendale, PA. Your primary focus will be on delivering reporting and analytical solutions in the Komatsu Mining Analytics Platform (KMAP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new state-based and machine learning analytics
• Maintain and improve existing analytics
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions in KMAP
• Develop cloud back-end and front-end software components

Requirements:

• Strong software development skills in Python, C# & Java language families
• Experience in SQL Database development and queries
• Experience in scripting languages such as Javascript and/or Angular
• Experience in Windows & Linux (Bash at least) development
• Cloud applications experience beneficial

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent relevant discipline, required
• 10+ years of experience (15 preferred)
• Strong attention to detail
