About the Role

As a Paramedic on our Emergency Department team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with acute illnesses or injuries. You will work closely with our team of physicians and registered nurses to provide exceptional care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient assessment and information gathering
  • Provide instruction and support to patients and their families
  • Document patient information and care rendered
  • Communicate patient information effectively
  • Perform life-saving and limb-saving measures as needed
  • Recognize and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias
  • Assist with intubation and other procedures under physician supervision
  • Deliver care to patients as directed, including comfort measures and emotional support
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited paramedic training program
  • Current certification as an EMT-Paramedic from the State of Ohio (National Registry preferred)
  • Minimum one year's experience in pre-hospital emergency care
  • Current certification in BLS and ACLS; PALS within one year of employment
