Qualifications:

  • This position is hybrid, requiring occasional visits to the nearest Guidehouse office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preference will be given to candidates residing within a reasonable distance from a Guidehouse office.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for enhancing state and local government through academic pursuits and project experience; advanced degree programs in business, information sciences, public policy, urban planning, data analytics, economics, engineering, and mathematics are preferred. Candidates with diverse educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven ability to define and lead client engagements, including conducting baseline assessments, crafting future state visions, developing implementation strategies, managing multiple stakeholders, and effectively communicating with diverse audiences.
  • For candidates with a technology background, familiarity with project management methodologies, including Agile, and the systems design life cycle is advantageous. Additional skills in SQL, data management, and analytics tools such as Python or R are also beneficial.
  • Demonstrated expertise in key aspects of state and local government, covering areas such as sustainability, urban planning, education, housing, transportation, justice, and administration.
  • Proven success in core management consulting competencies, including project management, financial modeling, operational modeling, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, fostering a positive team environment and managing staff workloads while meeting client expectations, including providing timely, constructive feedback, keeping leadership informed of progress and challenges, and guiding less-experienced team members.
The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,000. Compensation decisions are influenced by various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business needs.
