Job Title: Deli Sales Associate - Clemmons, NC

Lowes Foods is seeking a skilled and friendly Deli Sales Associate to join our team in Clemmons, NC. As a Deli Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service through deli department activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Possess the ability to prepare products for sale efficiently, including frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, and pricing items accurately.
  • Maintain product levels, quality, and freshness by adhering to proper storage and handling procedures.
  • Ensure the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area are consistently sanitized and clean, meeting high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Clearly communicate guest requests to management, effectively resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisors in a timely manner, allowing for prompt action to maintain optimal product conditions.
  • Perform tasks related to supply area organization, maintaining a neat, clean, and tidy space at all times.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management, adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive front porch experience for guests, adhering to 'guest arrival' standards.
  • Announce specials and sale information on the PA system, keeping customers informed about promotions and deals.
  • Assist in product receiving and storage processes, supporting efficient inventory management.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate a friendly, outgoing personality, able to connect with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Show ability to work well with others, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Possess the physical ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally, demonstrating stamina and flexibility.
  • Exhibit effective communication, guest service, and selling skills, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Be at least 18 years old, meeting minimum age requirements for employment.
  • Able to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods, accommodating the demands of a fast-paced retail environment.
Estimated Salary:

$30,000 - $40,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
