About the Role

Civeo is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Clerk-Housekeeper to join our team at our lodge in city, State. As a key member of our lodge team, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of our bedrooms, bathrooms, and hallways, as well as performing general clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general clerical/administrative duties in the lodge, including greeting customers, check-in and check-out, invoicing, filing, and other tasks.
  • Housekeeping of rooms and common areas, including making beds, laundering linens and towels, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and dusting.
  • Report maintenance needs and other concerns to supervisors.
  • Complete daily housekeeping paperwork.
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver laundry to assigned rooms.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the laundry room and other areas within the facility.
  • Operate Civeo vehicles to pick up laundry bags, collect trash, and distribute supplies to bunks.
  • Operate trash compactor.
  • Ensure work area is safe from hazards.
  • Ensure all Civeo policies and procedures are followed on the job.
  • Participate in safety meetings.
  • Work as a team member to complete the overall mission of the lodge.
  • Complete special projects and all other duties as assigned by the Lodge Manager.
Qualification Requirements
  • Completion of high school is required.
  • Recommended minimum of one (1) year of janitorial or housekeeping experience, preferably in a remote location, including experience in laundry settings.
  • Minimum of one (1) year clerical or related experience.
  • Strong clerical and computer skills for data entry.
  • Experience working with credit card terminals is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with clean and safe 5-year driver's abstract.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality of work, and environmental awareness.
  • Professionalism and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to details, accuracy, and good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Manual dexterity, and ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time and work physically lifting up to 50 lb. on a daily basis.
  • Ability to work rotational work schedules, i.e., 28 days on and 14 days off, working 8-12 hours per day (depending on business needs) in a remote camp environment. Room and board are provided.

The standard rotation is 28 days on, 14 days off, with 12 hours worked per day. The successful candidate for this role can expect to earn between $2606.49 and $5212.97 per month, before applicable taxes.
