Overview

DocMagic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year-end close, produce financials to meet timelines, and manage budget and forecasting responsibilities.
  • Accounting Team Management: Oversee, guide, train, and manage the accounting team, providing ongoing support, feedback, and direction on the team's day-to-day duties and deliverables.
  • Internal Controls: Oversee the company's banking and ensure sufficient internal controls are in place.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Oversee payroll processing and benefit and 401K administration, and participate in group benefit selection and proposals.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with the Leadership Team to support overall company goals and objectives, and be an advocate of the company, inspiring and leading departments to adhere to the company's mission and positive culture.

Requirements

  • Education: BA/BS degree in business/accounting, MBA/CPA preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7+ years management experience producing financial reports, with excellent leadership skills and a big-picture method to approaching tasks.
  • Skills: Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills, work as a team player, and build strong working relationships by collaborating with peers and those across the company.
