Job Description

SpaceX is a pioneering company that aims to make humanity a multi-planetary species. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing the technologies necessary for space exploration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for spacecraft, including propulsion, life support, and thermal management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of launch operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to ensure operational excellence.
  • Lead root cause and corrective action investigations to resolve high-risk issues.
  • Develop and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or design engineering role.
  • Knowledge of quality tools such as Lean principles, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, and weekends when required by mission milestones.
