Job Title: Contract School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Type: Contract, Full Time, Elementary

Job Description:

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide vital speech and language services to students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and ensure effective communication.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant school meetings to ensure student needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and district policies, ensuring compliance and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid FL State SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
