Job Description:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide vital speech and language services to students in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and ensure effective communication.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant school meetings to ensure student needs are met.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and district policies, ensuring compliance and data-driven decision making.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid FL State SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
