Pharmacy Technician

Walgreens is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a patient-centric role. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality patient care.

• Assist Pharmacists in Patient Care: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as provide patient education and support.
• Operate Pharmacy Systems: You will be responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service: You will engage with customers and patients, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Support Inventory Management: You will assist in the ordering, unpacking, and stocking of pharmaceuticals, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Participate in Continuing Education: You will have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and education programs.

• Fluency in English: You must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Previous Experience: Preferably 6 months of experience in a retail environment, with prior work experience with Walgreens being a plus.
• Math and Computer Skills: You should have good math skills for accurate prescription filling and good computer skills for operating pharmacy systems.
• PTCB Certification: Preferably certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
