Job Overview

The Staff Pad has partnered with a prominent healthcare organization in Montana to support their mission of delivering exceptional patient care. As a Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist, you will play a vital role in conducting diagnostic ultrasound examinations to aid in the accurate diagnosis of various medical conditions.

Schedule and Responsibilities
Sunday through Wednesday, 8:00 pm - 6:30 am

You will be responsible for verifying patient identification, explaining procedures, performing high-quality 2D and 3D imaging, and supporting interventional procedures with ultrasound guidance. Additionally, you will maintain accurate documentation, ensure image quality and PACS transfer, and contribute to departmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, vascular, and OB/GYN scans.
  • Support interventional procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with lead technologists to optimize scheduling, protocol development, and quality assurance.
  • Participate in staff training, orientation, and department accreditation projects.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist who possesses:
  • A graduate degree from an accredited School of Ultrasound Technology.
  • ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular strongly preferred; additional registries beneficial.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Proven experience across a variety of sonographic procedures, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
