About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Professional to join our team as a Step Down Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide specialized care for patients transitioning from critical care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license.
  • BLS (Other certifications as required by facility).
  • Two years of recent Step Down experience.
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills.
