To assist customers in finding merchandise and encouraging them to purchase in a retail environment. As well as maintain a long-term relationship with customers, to represent the store in a positive manner and achieve sales goals while ensuring further business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet Customers and Determine Their Needs
  • Recommend, select and help locate the right merchandise
  • Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss available options
  • Describe a Product's Features and Demonstrate Use
  • Help customers try on or fit merchandise
  • Answer customer queries regarding the store and the merchandise
  • Maintain In-Stock and Presentable Condition in the Store
  • Restock inventory
  • Stay up to date on all promotions and special offers
  • Process Transactions and Manage Cash Drawer
  • Calculate discounts and special offers accurately
  • Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, know how to prevent or handle these situations
  • Exchange merchandise for customers
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
  • Clean shelves, counters, floors and tables
Requirements
  • Effective communication, with the ability to meet sales goals
  • Possess self-confidence and a presentable outgoing personality
  • Ability to work well with a team and communicate with sales manager
  • Reliable, hardworking, enthusiastic, with the ability to perform multiple assignments at the same time
  • Ability and willing to work on weekend and holidays
  • Ability to learn the art of professional greeting and attracting passive consumers
  • Physically fit to stand for long periods, and ability to lift moderate to heavy boxes
