Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Professional to join our team at the Department of Mental Health, Catawba Community Mental Health Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide therapeutic and emergency services to Child and Adolescent clients and their families. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve our mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced medically necessary clinical services, including assessment, individual, family & group therapy & crisis intervention services to a targeted population of Child and Adolescent clients and their families. Ensure frequent interaction with other community agencies and maintain positive professional relationships. Pursue continuing education and training. Maintain positive professional relationships with MHC staff, and community agencies, as well as clients and their families. Work to overcome the stigma of mental illness and mental health services by providing education, training, and support services to the community at large. This position MAY be eligible for SCDMH Student Loan Repayment to cover some of the cost of your outstanding loan(s) balance associated with the completion of a healthcare degree that is relevant to the appliable position.
Requirements:
