Swtest is in search of an innovative leader to manage the IT Platform Engineering teams focused on Storage and Cloud solutions.
Our advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence are significantly dependent on high-performance storage systems that operate at petabyte scale, along with the strategic use of cloud computing and SaaS offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and mentoring the IT Platform teams dedicated to Storage and Cloud.
- Partnering with various teams and stakeholders to formulate and execute strategies for storage and cloud that meet Swtest's operational, scalability, and reliability objectives.
- Supporting the development and success of team members while directing multiple strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Regularly evaluating priorities to guarantee the efficient and budget-conscious delivery of projects.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity managing technical teams.
- Expertise in incident management and operations with an emphasis on delivering highly available services at scale.
- Experience managing large-scale cloud services.
- Strong project management skills and organizational capabilities, along with excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in scaled/high-performance computing.
- Familiarity with GPU and/or AI workloads.
- Experience with object and distributed storage systems such as S3, Lustre/FSX, and Ceph.
Compensation Overview:
The compensation package includes three primary components: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Swtest Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary for this position ranges from $179,000 to $299,000, with potential sign-on bonuses. The specific compensation is influenced by factors such as location, experience, domain expertise, and performance during the interview process. The stated salary range reflects the levels being considered for this role.
