GSE Mechanic

Global Crossing Airlines is seeking a skilled GSE Mechanic to join our team. As a GSE Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ground service equipment at our station.

• Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations, both locally and globally.
• Maintain all ground service equipment at our station, prioritized by the GSE Manager.
• Ensure safe operations and ensure all safety devices, machinery, vehicles, and equipment are operated correctly.
• Ensure safety rules are observed by all employees, contractors, and visitors.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in GSE maintenance or equivalent.
• Relevant military experience welcome.
• Technical background in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fields.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects, requiring frequent communication, organizing, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Distinct customer focus, both internal and external.
• Computer literacy, including familiarity with computer-aided maintenance tools.
• Spoken English.

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
