We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team at Volt. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining electric and propane industrial equipment, including forklifts.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and industrial equipment
- Document all work performed, including detailed repair descriptions and hour meter readings
- Communicate effectively with customers to diagnose issues, provide repair estimates, and explain completed work
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns promptly
- Inspect and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on equipment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience and/or training in forklift or industrial equipment maintenance, with a focus on electrical maintenance
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
