We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Nursing Home Concierge at Meadowbrook Care Center. As a resident advocate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our unit and providing exceptional customer service to our residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough room checks prior to resident admissions to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
- Welcome new residents and escort them to their rooms, providing a warm and personalized introduction.
- Communicate with family members to keep them informed of their loved one's arrival and provide a point of contact for any questions or concerns.
- Act as an advocate for residents and families, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with lunch service, including serving coffee, placing bibs, and delivering trays, to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Conduct customer service feedback surveys to identify areas for improvement and enhance the quality of care for our residents.
- Respond promptly to call bells and report any issues to the unit supervisor and administration.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering telephone calls, taking messages, and reporting requests to the appropriate staff members.
- Promote positive teamwork and collaboration with colleagues and across departmental lines.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- High motivation and energy, with a friendly and responsible demeanor.
- Experience working with the elderly and disabled, with a preference for a background in healthcare or a related field.
This role requires the ability to walk the corridors of our facility and lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Work ScheduleThis position is available on a part-time basis, with the following schedule:
- Sunday: 10am-6pm
- Monday: 3pm-8pm
- Tuesday: 4pm-8pm
- Wednesday: 11am-7pm
- Thursday: 10am-6pm
