The Maintenance Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the effective delivery of maintenance services at Dairy Farmers of America. This position oversees the management and operation of equipment, facilities, and systems to guarantee their optimal condition and performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a skilled maintenance team qualified to maintain all equipment and facilities in a safe and efficient working condition.
• Maintain all operating equipment in satisfactory condition, ensuring it operates within vendor/manufacturer specifications and tolerances.
• Establish objectives and standards of performance for activities and projects within the maintenance department to meet departmental, divisional, and corporate goals and objectives.
• Oversee the development and execution of an effective predictive/preventive maintenance program, focusing on removing unscheduled downtime, increasing asset lifespan, and minimizing costs associated with asset breakdowns.
• Serve as an escalation point of contact for emergency maintenance requests and consult with engineering and management regarding desirable equipment modifications and replacements.
• Analyze cost studies of proposals for new equipment and make recommendations to management.
• Implement cost-reduction measures to control expenses that impact the operating budget for repair, utility, pretreatment, and maintenance.
• Manage assigned employees, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and performance management, while adhering to company policies and employment regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and improving equipment efficiency.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
