Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Technician position at Regal Rexnord is responsible for inspecting products according to specifications and standards. This includes documenting non-conformances and working with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality control tests and inspections on products, materials, components, and parts at various stages of the production process.
- Record statistical data and write summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards.
- Recommend modifications to existing or suggest new standards, methods, and procedures.
- Apply basic skills and develop advanced skills using tools and equipment appropriate for the position or tasks.
- Resolve routine questions and problems and refer more complex issues to higher levels.
- High school or GED
- A minimum of 3 years of Quality experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing setting
- Basic knowledge of ASME-Y14.5 (Geometric Tolerance) and ability to apply/inspect to requirements with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques used to verify product conformity, effective manufacture, and distribution of goods
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Ability to read and calibrate all gauges available in the plant
