Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide temporary support to students during a maternity leave period. As a Speech Language Pathologist - Maternity Leave Coverage Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in grades 5-12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to address communication disorders and delays
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other team members to promote student progress and success
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • State licensure or qualifications for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, particularly in an educational environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
