ChristianaCare - Wilmington Hospital is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 4N Medical Stepdown Unit.
Unit Description:
The 4N unit specializes in Medical Telemetry, providing care for patients with a range of conditions, including pneumonia, COPD, heart failure, strokes, mental health changes, diabetes, wounds, urinary tract infections, pancreatitis, and cellulitis. Our patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and seniors, offering staff a diverse array of learning opportunities in a dynamic setting.
Working in a mixed-acuity environment allows for ACLS certification, exposure to critical and emergent patient scenarios, and the application of evidence-based best practices. We foster a culture of professional growth and knowledge expansion, supporting the clinical ladder and promoting inclusivity. Qualifications:
- Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License required.
- BSN preferred or a commitment to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire.
- 1-2 years of experience in acute or sub-acute care preferred.
