About Cognizant's SAP Practice

Cognizant's SAP practice is part of our Enterprise Platform Services (EPS) unit, where we help enterprises maximize business value in the digital economy. As part of this practice, you will drive digital acceleration, preparing our clients for the autonomous business by unlocking the value of digital with industry-specific outcomes. Our extended service portfolio and business solutions help our clients gain competitive leadership, discover new revenue streams, and achieve business agility—all with operational mandates of cost and efficiency.

Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP Data Architect who will cater to North America customers and support proactive and reactive business opportunities, such as managed services and transformation. The individual will work closely with our onsite sales/delivery teams, participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the integration of customer and vendor data into the SAP S/4HANA system, ensuring seamless synchronization and data accuracy. Customer Vendor Integration (CVI) knowledge/experience is preferred.
  • Lead the implementation of Customer Vendor Integration (CVI) in SAP S/4HANA, converting customer and vendor master data into Business Partner (BP) data.
  • Ensure accurate synchronization of customer and vendor data with the Business Partner model, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
  • Configure and customize the SAP S/4HANA system to support CVI processes, including setting up Business Partner roles and relationships.
  • Lead all aspects of the migration of customer and vendor data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide technical support and fixes for CVI-related issues, working closely with IT and business teams to resolve problems promptly.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for CVI processes and deliver training to end-users and customers.
Required Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of SAP experience, with a proven background in SAP Data Architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, with a focus on CVI preferred.

This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
